Ludlow Barnwood was established in January 2013 when Mark Ludlow was given rustic barn wood from his neighbor, Hershall, 93. Hershall had collected salvaged barn wood for quite some time and needed to clean out his stash. Hershall used the wood to make chairs for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mark was intrigued and decided to make something with the wood he had been given. He made a 4 ft. x 7 ft. Dining Room Table in the old-world way, using no nails or screws. Mark had found his niche.

Shortly after, Mark began to deconstruct the barns himself and repurpose the wood into furniture pieces and architectural fixtures. Each piece made by Ludlow Barnwood holds a piece of midwest history—a history that can become part of the story your home or business tells.
